My Intention Is Happiness

Answer
I'm going to start eating Paleo, and I have a couple of questions! First off, as far as results come by how many weeks should one see results. Secondly is protein powder necessary? As I'm trying to go more leaner than built, will protein powder affect that? XX

I am not an expert on Paleo nor a nutritionist so I can only provide details on what’s worked for me.  It should also be noted that I’ve only been doing strict Paleo for 3 weeks.  I noticed results after the first week - weight loss - that being said I had some weight to lose which might now be the same for you.  It took my body a few weeks to adjust and not feel so sluggish from the changes in my diet but now I find I have steady energy levels rather than highs and lows.  I don’t know about lean vs bulk and given that you’re a male with a lot more testosterone I’m guessing the effect will be quite different anyway.  I find for myself that protein powder is just an easier way for me at times to include protein in a meal - such as smoothies, etc.  I find that without protein at meals I get hungrier much faster, it’s the protein that keeps me steady.  Also, hydrate lots.  Keep drinking water all the time.  And google is a great source - Robb Wolfe’s website and Mark’s Daily Apple are both great sources of info.  I google all the time to check ingredients, look for recipes, etc - a bit of research can help you answer a lot of questions.
